This page describes the clinical or administrative workflows supported by this Implementation Guide, the roles involved, and the obligations that apply to each actor.
Describe each workflow this IG supports. For each workflow, explain the trigger, the sequence of steps, and the outcome. Use diagrams where helpful (place images in input/images/ and reference them here).
Describe the workflow. Example: "The laboratory result workflow begins when a clinician orders a test. The laboratory system analyses the specimen and produces a result, which is then made available to the ordering clinician and the patient's record system."
Consider including a sequence diagram or swimlane diagram to illustrate the flow.
List the systems or human roles that participate in the workflows above. For each actor, describe their responsibilities in the context of this IG.
